Our customer Döllken Profiles, a manufacturer of technical profiles, was looking for an innovative method to reliably stamp extruded profiles in series production.
Customer requirement:
- Punching a special profile with arrow geometry without deformation of this
- Short changeover times for different die-cutting patterns
- Production speed: 25 m/min
- Space-saving integration into the production line
Advantages of the KRV 160:
- Plastic material thicknesses up to 4 mm can be punched
- Custom-designed stamps and dies as well as material guides tailored to the product
- Quick and easy tool change
- Quick-change system for material guides
- Open stamping tools during product calibration
- Easy integration into existing production lines
- little need for space
The KRV 160 is positioned between the caterpillar feeder and the separation unit. The production speed is measured by a measuring wheel positioned in front of the caterpillar feeder and is infinitely adjustable.
The tools and material guide are adapted to the contour of the PVC profile, ensuring the best possible results from the die-cutting. The rubber wiper mounted on the punch ring prevents the profile from deforming during the die-cutting process.
Tool changes and product calibration made easy: Thanks to the automatic opening mechanism of the tools, profiles can be inserted easily and safely. A tool change is completed in just a few minutes. The stamping tools can even be opened during ongoing production.
