The innovative PW 3000 for changing pallets between two hygienic zones
At the LogiMAT logistics trade fair (25 to 27 April 2023), Baust will be presenting the most flexible pallet changer in the field of pushing for the first time. The engineers from the Rhineland have made revolutionary changes to the PW 3000 pallet transfer unit for their customers:
The sliding plates as the heart of the machine ensure optimum sliding process and gentle handling of the customer’s goods. In addition to the two-piece version, these sliding plates can be offered as a one-piece element with lengthwise or crosswise drive (PW 3000 LS / PW 3000 OS). This way, the machine fits into even the narrowest pharmaceutical airlocks, leaving more space for additional airlocks as well as storage and production space – because every square meter in the cleanroom is precious.
It doesn’t get any smaller – as adaptable and varied as the architecture demands
The protection via the high-speed doors of the airlock alone and the omission of the usual safety fence with access light barriers saves considerably on construction length. An optional roller curtain instead of the wing doors as a rear wall reduces the overall length to the absolute minimum. Purely electric drives are another smart option that makes expensive compressed air superfluous. Adaptations such as a GMP or hygiene design in stainless steel or the consideration of cleaning or explosion protection specifications round off the expertise of the Baust team. The material handling expert from Langenfeld is thus expanding its range of pallet changers even further than ever seemed possible.
