Baust Material Flow Systems designed and constructed a pallet turning station with integrated conveyor technology for a medium-sized food processing company. The process is as follows: Integrated light barriers in the palletizer first detect the pallet size. Two pneumatically operated gripper arms then grasp the pallet from the side. The pallet turning station centers it and rotates it 180° if necessary. The pallet is now optimally prepared and transferred to the conveyor system in a central orientation. Further processing steps, such as loading the pallet, are now possible.
