FX-Drive
The FX-Drive offers significantly increased flexibility. Its intelligent control system allows for the programming of different hole spacings and calculates the optimal line speed for each hole pattern. This application requires rotary die-cutting tools with a sufficiently large punch spacing (clearance angle). The roller guides and material run through the rotary die at a continuous speed. Depending on the program input, the die-cutting feed is accelerated or decelerated as needed. The control system sends a signal to the die-cutting feed indicating when and at what intervals punching is required. These intervals can be freely programmed via the display.
Intermittent operation of the rotary die significantly increases flexibility. Production speeds of up to 150 m/min are possible. This method is used, for example, in the production of stud frame profiles or when cut-offs need to be incorporated.
