Pallet changer using the push-over method
The transfer method eliminates the need for rotating, tilting, or clamping. Instead, the goods are gently pushed from the source pallet to the destination pallet. This makes the transfer method particularly gentle and ideally suited for repalletizing delicate goods.
Pallet changers using the slide-over method are available in two basic versions:
As a freestanding stand-alone element or as part of a material flow system.
The overlay method offers diverse areas of application.

Freestanding pallet changer using the push-over method
Pallet changers using the push-through method are available with various options. They can be loaded from both the front and the back, making them suitable for use as hygiene locks in the food or pharmaceutical industries. These pallet changers are easily integrated into existing conveyor systems. The most powerful machines can perform up to 60 changes per hour.

Pallet changer for integration into a conveyor system
All these pallet changers have in common the basic principle of repalletizing: The source pallet is positioned slightly higher than the destination pallet. Inside a transport basket, the goods are enclosed by several side walls and carefully pushed onto the destination pallet. With stand-alone machines, the newly loaded pallet can then be removed. Otherwise, it is transported further by a conveyor.
Overlap method on the pallet changer
Do you have particularly sensitive goods or pallets with incomplete or incomplete loads? No problem! Baust pallet changers using the push-through method reliably transfer pallets, even with delicate goods. With this method, the pallet changer avoids clamping, turning, or tilting. Instead, the goods are gently pushed from the source pallet to the destination pallet.
During the transfer process, the side walls of the pallet changer only very gently enclose the goods to prevent them from tipping over or falling off. The source pallet is positioned slightly higher than the destination pallet placed in front of it.
The pallet changer then carefully pushes the entire stack onto the target pallet. It can then be easily picked up by a forklift or pallet jack. Baust's most powerful pallet changers can perform up to 60 changes per hour using this technique. The push-type pallet changer is suitable both as a freestanding unit and as part of a conveyor system. The units can be loaded with pallets from one or both sides, making them ideal for use in high-performance logistics systems, hygiene locks, or niche locations in the pharmaceutical, food, and logistics sectors.

For particularly delicate or incompletely packed goods, we recommend a pallet changer using the push-over method. Here, the palletizer gently encloses the goods from several sides with the pressure of large side walls. The pallet changer then carefully pushes the entire stack of goods onto the slightly lower target pallet.
This allows you to reliably repalletize rolls of pulp, crates of fruit, or pallets full of different goods. Our most powerful machines using the push-type method can handle up to 60 pallet changes per hour.

Loading from two sides
The Baust pallet changer with push-through system is available in several versions: It can be easily integrated into existing conveyor systems, but can also be used as a standalone unit. Some models can be loaded from both the front and the back. This allows these push-through pallet changers to be used, for example, as hygiene locks in the food or pharmaceutical industries. Both the stand-alone units and the pallet changers integrated into a material flow system are suitable for highly sensitive goods. They are also designed to be particularly space-saving. With our flexible and easy-to-use push-through pallet changers, we are confident we can meet your individual requirements!
Our models for your application
For large and stable units of goods, we developed the PW 1000. It impresses with its space-saving plug-and-play design and ease of use. With the PW 2000, two flexible side walls and the rear wall enclose the goods from three sides. Additional sliding plates ensure that highly sensitive goods are transferred gently onto the destination pallet. The PW 3000, with its clever two-way solution, is particularly in demand for cleanroom airlocks. It can be loaded and unloaded from both the front and the rear. It systematically distinguishes between internal and external pallets to prevent foreign pallets from entering the cleanroom. Thus, the PW 3000 meets the highest hygiene standards using the transfer method.

Pallet changer with overrun method
The PW 4000 and PW 5000 models are the inline versions of the PW 2000 and PW 3000 for automated conveyor systems. The PW 5000 also functions as a fully automated airlock with a clear separation between the cleanroom and the gray area. For particularly high throughput, we designed the PW 6000, which can handle up to 60 pallet changes per hour using a transfer method. Top sheet protectors safeguard delicate goods from rough pallets. These are automatically centered, ensuring that the sensitive goods are positioned precisely in the middle of the pallet. This means you can rely on the quality of Baust pallet changers, even for highly sensitive goods and a wide range of requirements!
