In February, the Institute for Production Engineering (PtU) at TU Darmstadt hosted its 10th Symposium on Roll Forming, and over 150 participants attended the two-day event to learn about the latest developments and research findings. Martin Plate, a graduate engineer from Baust Stanztechnologie, explained the principle and operation of the two stamping inserts, BRC and BRV. Their continuous operating principle and compact, purely mechanical design make the BRC and BRV ideal additions to roll forming lines for narrow and thin sheets.
